Role Description The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in developing corporate interior projects from concept to execution in a full-time capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with space planning, preparing design presentations, supporting the development of construction drawings, and coordinating FF&E selections under guidance from senior designers. The role involves collaborating with architects, vendors, and internal stakeholders, conducting site visits, and helping ensure design intent is maintained through project delivery. This is a hybrid role based in South Delhi, where the designer will work primarily from the studio with the flexibility to perform some tasks from home as project needs allow.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Interior Design and Architecture, with the ability to translate concepts into practical spatial solutions.
- Proficiency in Space Planning and FF&E selection, including layouts, finishes, and furniture for corporate interiors.
- Ability to assist in producing accurate Construction Drawings and documentation for implementation on site.
- Working knowledge of industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic presentation tools.
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, and prior internship or junior-level experience in interior projects is preferred.
- Attention to detail, strong visual and design sensibility, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate in a studio environment.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to project demands, and manage time across studio work and occasional remote tasks.
