Role Description This is a full-time Junior Interior Designer role based in Bengaluru with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for both in-office collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility. The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in developing interior concepts, preparing space plans, and assisting with construction drawings and documentation. Daily tasks include coordinating FF&E selections, supporting client presentations, and collaborating with project managers and vendors to ensure design intent is maintained through execution. The role also involves site visits, measurements, and basic supervision of installation activities, as well as maintaining project files and design libraries.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Interior Design and Architecture, with the ability to translate concepts into practical design solutions.
- Proficiency in Space Planning to create efficient, functional layouts for commercial and residential interiors.
- Ability to prepare and interpret Construction Drawings, including basic detailing and coordination with project teams.
- Knowledge of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection, specification, and coordination with vendors.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
- Working knowledge of design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic MS Office skills.
- Strong visual sense, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Prior internship or 0–2 years of experience in interior design or modular interiors is an advantage.
