Company Description Studio Kreate is a luxury interior design studio specializing in bespoke solutions for high-end residences and commercial spaces, including offices and retail environments. Role Description The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in developing concept presentations, mood boards, and material palettes for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with space planning, preparing drawings and 3D visuals, coordinating FF&E selections, and creating documentation for client reviews. The role involves working closely with senior designers to translate design concepts into detailed construction drawings and site-ready information. The Junior Interior Designer will also support site visits, vendor coordination, and follow-ups to ensure design intent is maintained through execution. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Interior Design and Architecture, with the ability to support concept development and detailed design work.
- Proficiency in Space Planning to create functional, efficient layouts for residential, office, and retail environments.
- Ability to prepare and interpret Construction Drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and basic details.
- Knowledge of FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), including selection, sourcing, and coordination with suppliers.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of design software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp,Enscape, Lumion, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools (PowerPoint, InDesign, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams, clients, and external partners.
- Willingness to learn, visit project sites, and adapt to evolving project requirements.
