Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Interior Designer based in the Greater Chennai Area. The Junior Interior Designer will support design projects from concept to completion, including space planning, creating construction drawings, and working collaboratively with the senior design team. The role also involves selecting FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) and offering creative input to enhance the client’s vision. The designer will visit project sites, communicate with stakeholders, and ensure projects adhere to established design standards and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design principles
- Knowledge of Architecture and the ability to produce and interpret Construction Drawings
- Familiarity with FF&E selection and its practical applications
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other related tools is preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Previous work or internship experience in interior design projects is a plus
