Role Description
● Accompany to senior designer/project manager for survey measurement of premises following Survey checklist and drafting the same with minimum errors. Drafting of the Complete sequence of Drawings
● Following and developing the complete sequence of drawings with the senior designer with all the necessary details as per sub checklist of sequence of drawings (SOD). Developing Skill and knowledge to plan and design the space on his/her own to grow as senior designer
● After completing 5 sites with the senior designer and achieving up to the mark results in a sequence of drawings, the Junior designer shall accompany the Senior designer for site visits for future growth.
1. Design Support Efficiency - :- Number of drawings completed per week/month Turnaround time for drawings or revisions Ability to follow design brief accurately % of tasks completed without rework Example Target - 10–20 drawings/month (depends on project stage)
2. Drawing Accuracy :- Error rate in drawings (dimensions, materials, annotations). Number of corrections required by senior designer. Accuracy of AutoCAD layouts and detailing. Example Target - <5% drawing corrections.
3. Software Proficiency :- Time taken to create 3D views .Quality of presentation drawings .Ability to create BOQ sheets
4. Site Coordination Support :-Number of site visits completed. Ability to record measurements correctly. Quality of site reports .Responsiveness to site issues
5. Material & Vendor Knowledge :- Knowledge of materials, finishes, laminates, hardware Ability to source samples Vendor coordination efficiency
6. Documentation Quality :- BOQ preparation accuracy. Checklist completion. File organization. Revision management.
7. Learning & Skill Development :-New software/tools learned. Design research contributions. Participation in design brainstorming
8. Team Discipline & Work Ethic Punctuality Deadline adherence Communication with team Responsiveness to feedback .
Qualifications
- responsible for Survey & Drafting of the Complete sequence of Drawings, Referencing for sites and having knowledge of Autocad,Sketchup ,Enscape,Photoshop/Presentation software/Microsoft Excel/Word/PPT.
