Interior Designer | Full Time | 1+ Years Experience
At SENSES By Design Studio
SENSES By Design Studio is looking for a full time Interior Designer with at least 1 year of professional experience to join our growing studio.
This is a hands on role involving active participation across all stages of a project, from concept development to execution. We are looking for someone who is organised, detail oriented, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of both creative and executional responsibilities.
The role includes design development, client communication, site coordination, vendor management, technical documentation, and backend support.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in concept development, moodboards, design presentations, and material selection
• Prepare technical drawings, BOQs, FF&E schedules, and project documentation
• Conduct site visits, take measurements, and monitor project execution progress
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, consultants, and suppliers
• Support backend operations including procurement, follow ups, and project coordination
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and project stakeholders
• Assist in design detailing, space planning, and execution related problem solving
Requirements
• Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an interior design or architecture firm
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with 3D visualization software such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, or V Ray
• Strong understanding of materials, detailing, spatial planning, and execution processes
• Good communication, organisation, and time management skills
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team
• Based in Mumbai or willing to relocate
