Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Interior Designer role based in the Pune Division. The Junior Interior Designer will support senior designers in developing design concepts, preparing mood boards, and assisting with presentations for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, creating interior layouts, assisting with construction drawings, and coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors. The role involves participating in site visits, gathering measurements, supporting FF&E selection (finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and helping maintain project documentation. The Junior Interior Designer will also assist in sourcing materials, tracking samples, and ensuring design intent is followed through project execution.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to create functional and aesthetically balanced layouts.
- Basic understanding of Architecture and Construction Drawings, including familiarity with plans, elevations, and detailing.
- Knowledge of FF&E, including selection of finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment that align with project concepts and budgets.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or presentation tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong visual, conceptual, and creative skills, with attention to detail and an eye for color, materials, and proportions.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities, with openness to feedback and willingness to learn from senior team members.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks, site visits, and deadlines in a fast-paced studio environment.
