Role Description
We are searching for a Junior Interior Designer for a full-time, on-site position at our Mumbai office. In this role, you will assist in space planning, develop concepts for interiors, produce detailed construction drawings, select FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and collaborate with other team members to bring design projects to fruition. The job will also involve addressing client requirements and ensuring designs align with the overall vision of Milieu Design House.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design to create harmonious and functional layouts tailored to client needs.
- Strong knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings to effectively translate design concepts into executable plans.
- Experience with FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection to ensure the aesthetics and functionality of interiors meet project objectives.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with team members, contractors, and clients.
- Creativity and a keen eye for detail along with a commitment to sustainable and environmentally responsible design approaches.
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other relevant tools is an advantage.
- Prior experience in the field of interior design, though not mandatory, will be considered a plus.
