Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Junior Interior Designer, based in Chennai with the flexibility to work remotely on certain tasks. The Junior Interior Designer will support the creation of modern, functional, and aesthetically compelling spaces by working closely on space planning, design concepts, and ensuring smooth implementation throughout projects. Responsibilities include preparing construction drawings, assisting with materials sourcing and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment), collaborating with senior designers, and ensuring project timelines are met.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design to create functional and cohesive spaces.
- Knowledge of Architecture and experience in preparing detailed Construction Drawings.
- Understanding of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) selection and specification processes.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other similar tools is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Relevant internship or prior work experience in interior design is a plus.
