Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Interior Designer, based in Indore. The Junior Interior Designer will assist in designing spaces that align with client needs, preferences, and project goals. Responsibilities include collaborating with senior designers, developing construction drawings, space planning, selecting furniture, finishes, and equipment (FF&E), and ensuring the successful execution of interior design projects. The candidate will also interact with clients and contractors to ensure the design vision is accurately implemented.
Qualifications
- Skills in Space Planning and the ability to design functional and efficient layouts for a variety of spaces.
- Proficiency in Architecture and Interior Design principles, including an understanding of building codes and aesthetic design standards.
- Experience in creating accurate and detailed Construction Drawings, with strong technical drafting capabilities.
- Knowledge of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment), including sourcing and specifying appropriate finishes and materials.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for client interactions and teamwork.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is required.
- Previous internship or project-based experience in interior design is an advantage.
