Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Junior Information Security (InfoSec) Specialist. We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Junior Info Sec Specialist to join ourcybersecurity team. The ideal candidate is someone who has completed Zscaler certifications and is eager to kickstart their career in cloud security. This role provideshands-on experience with Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) and Supporting technologies, threat detection, and security monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
● Assist in monitoring and managing cloud-based security solutions using Zscaler.
● Customer facing activities like Proof of Concept (PoC), Implementation and Post Sale Support.
● Support the deployment and configuration of ZIA and ZPA policies.
● Analyze security alerts and work with senior analysts to respond to incidents.
● Learn and help apply zero trust security principles.
● Maintain documentation for security policies, procedures, and incident reports.
● Stay up-to-date with new threats and Zscaler platform updates.
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.
● Customer Obsession and eager to build champions among key contacts.
● Curious to learn new technologies.
● Zscaler certification (Zscaler Certified Associate or equivalent) – required.
● Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., DNS, VPN, HTTP/S).
● Familiarity with cloud services and cybersecurity fundamentals.
● Good communication and problem-solving skills.
● Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Added Advantage:
● Internship or project experience related to cloud security or Zscaler.
● Knowledge of SIEM tools, firewalls, or endpoint security.
● Awareness of frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK or NIST.
