Role Description This full-time Junior Human Resources Consultant role is a hybrid position based in the Greater Chennai Area, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The role involves supporting HR operations, assisting in the implementation of HR policies, and maintaining employee records and documentation. Daily activities include helping with recruitment and onboarding, coordinating training and development initiatives, and assisting in performance management processes. The consultant will support employee relations by responding to routine HR queries, helping resolve minor workplace issues, and promoting a positive, inclusive work environment. The role also includes assisting in compliance with labor and employment regulations, preparing HR reports, and collaborating with other teams to ensure efficient HR service delivery.
Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management to support day-to-day HR operations and processes.
- Ability to understand, apply, and help communicate HR Policies in alignment with organizational standards and local practices.
- Skills in Employee Relations to assist in handling routine employee concerns and fostering a respectful, collaborative workplace.
- Basic familiarity with Labor and Employment Law to support compliance efforts and accurate HR documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Proficiency with AI and HR information systems; comfort learning new HR tools and platforms.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Previous internship or up to 2 years’ experience in HR or consulting is an advantage, especially in real estate or services sectors.
