Role Description
The Junior GRC Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in T.Nagar, Chennai. Responsibilities include assisting in governance, risk, and compliance activities, performing security assessments, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting internal audits. The Analyst will also work to identify and mitigate risks, conduct research on emerging cybersecurity trends, and document compliance processes and policies. Collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams to enhance overall security posture will be a key part of the role.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) with familiarity in implementation of frameworks like ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI DSS, and HIPAA
- Skills in risk assessment, risk mitigation, and compliance monitoring
- Ability to analyze and develop security policies and documentation
- Proficiency in conducting research and staying updated on cybersecurity threats and trends
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with audit processes, including internal audits and regulatory compliance
- Familiarity with tools or platforms related to security assessment and compliance is a plus
- Team collaboration skills with the ability to work onsite in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline or equivalent work experience
