Role Description As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will support the design needs of Roots Foundation’s communication and outreach initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating visual assets for digital and print materials, assisting in the development of branding and campaign collateral, and designing graphics for presentations, reports, and social media. You will collaborate with program, communications, and fundraising teams to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging visuals that reflect the organization’s mission and values. The role also involves maintaining design consistency across materials, preparing files for production, and iterating on feedback from stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Graphics and Graphic Design for creating visual content across digital and print channels.
- Candidates should possess skills in Logo Design and Branding to support and maintain the organization’s visual identity.
- Candidates should possess skills in Typography to ensure clarity, readability, and aesthetic alignment in all design materials.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign or equivalent) and familiarity with basic layout principles.
- Ability to follow brand guidelines, work with feedback, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment.
- A portfolio demonstrating design projects, preferably including social impact or nonprofit work, is strongly preferred.
- Relevant education or training in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field is beneficial.
