Role Description The Junior Graphic Designer will support the creation and refinement of visual assets for Hamlet Hotels, including marketing materials, social media creatives, website graphics, and in-property signage. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing layouts, developing brand-consistent visuals, preparing files for print and digital use, and collaborating with marketing and operations teams to ensure cohesive brand representation. The role involves assisting with logo applications, typography choices, and graphic elements for campaigns and guest-facing communication. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai, requiring close coordination with local and remote team members to meet deadlines and maintain brand standards.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Graphics and Graphic Design for digital and print materials
- Ability to contribute to Logo Design and Branding in line with brand guidelines
- Proficiency in Typography and layout design for clear, visually appealing communication
- Working knowledge of industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or equivalents)
- Attention to detail, ability to follow brand standards, and openness to feedback
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site in Chennai
- Relevant education or training in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
- Portfolio demonstrating design work for branding, marketing, or hospitality-related projects is preferred
