Role OverviewAs a Junior Full Stack Engineer (Python + AI Tools), you will work across backend and frontend systems, primarily using Python on the server side and modern JavaScript frameworks on the client side.
You will collaborate with senior engineers and founders to design, build, test, and deploy features end-to-end in a fast-paced environment.
This role is ideal for someone at the start of their career who is highly curious, analytical, and excited to learn new AI-powered tools and ship real products quickly.
What You Will Do- Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of web applications across the full stack (frontend, backend, database).
- Implement backend services and APIs using Python and a web framework such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask under guidance.
- Build and maintain user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a modern frontend framework (e.g. React/Next.js).
- Use AI tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, other LLM-based assistants) to speed up coding, debugging, documentation, and exploration while taking full ownership of your code.
- Write clean, readable, and maintainable code with basic tests and documentation.
- Participate in code reviews and learn from feedback to gradually take end-to-end ownership of smaller features.
- Help debug and fix issues across the stack in development and staging environments.
- Collaborate with product, design, and senior engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical tasks.
- Follow best practices for Git, branching, and simple CI/CD workflows.
Must-Have Skills- 0–1 years of software development experience (internships, projects, or freelance work are welcome).
- Solid programming fundamentals in Python (data structures, OOP, basic algorithms).
- Basic experience with web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Some exposure to a modern frontend framework such as React (through projects or courses).
- Familiarity with at least one Python web framework (FastAPI, Django, or Flask) via projects, coursework, or internships.
- Basic understanding of relational or NoSQL databases and how applications interact with them.
- Strong interest in and willingness to use AI-assisted development tools in day-to-day work.
- Analytical and structured problem-solving mindset; ability to break problems into smaller steps.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where features are shipped and iterated quickly.
- Clear communication skills and ability to work in a small, collaborative team.
Nice to Have- Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent self-taught / bootcamp background.
- Personal or academic projects demonstrating full stack skills (live demos or GitHub links).
- Basic familiarity with Docker, Linux, or any cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Exposure to LLMs, vector databases, or small AI/ML side projects.
