The work
The ideal candidate will operate within a high-performance cloud environment, utilizing modern technologies to build the future of SME operations. In this internal-facing role, you will collaborate closely with our engineering teams to develop and maintain robust applications across the relyd ecosystem. Your responsibilities will focus on scalability and system efficiency, where you will analyze existing structures to design and implement enhancement specifications for the relyd Pulse Framework. As a Full Stack Developer at relyd, you will enjoy hands-on exposure to the development lifecycle - contributing to new ERP and WMS applications, upgrading existing systems to next-generation frameworks, and resolving complex technical bottlenecks. In this capacity, you will develop and maintain web applications using the Laravel Framework and Blade Templating Engine, ensuring high code quality by following best practices and maintaining clean architecture. You will design, implement, and optimize database schemas (MySQL, PostgreSQL), implement authentication and role-based access control, and integrate third-party services such as Payment Gateways and APIs of multiple platforms. Furthermore, you will develop and work on multi-tenant systems, while performing debugging, troubleshooting, and application performance optimization. • Laravel (Latest Version) and Core PHP (OOP Concepts)
• Database management: MySQL and PostgreSQL
• Proficient with migrations and Eloquent ORM
• Experience with Laravel libraries and tools:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience building Laravel applications coupled with React
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to discuss technical concepts clearly with teammates and stakeholders.
• Experience or interest in technology consulting, with an ability to understand business requirements.
• Familiarity with Linux environments
Freelance Contract
To support our sustained corporate growth and systemically scale our delivery capabilities, this position is offered on a Freelance Contract basis, serving as a strategic mechanism to bolster our internal resources and maintain a robust backbone for our enterprise-grade initiatives. This engagement is strictly project-driven and directly tied to dedicated client mandates, meaning your deployment will seamlessly continue for the precise duration of the specific client assignment. In alignment with our standard project lifecycles, these individual assignments typically span between one and six months, with extensions frequently granted based on consecutive client requirements. We view our freelance network as a vital, long-term talent pool; consequently, as we continuously expand our permanent workforce, proven freelance contractors are explicitly prioritised for permanent tenure. Should there be mutual alignment and sustained high performance, our objective is to eliminate all transition friction, offering a direct and efficient pathway toward a permanent position within our organisation.
