Fashion Merchandiser
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Merchandiser to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of garment development, fashion coordination, and production processes, along with a passion for fashion and product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with buyers, vendors, and production teams for smooth execution of orders
- Manage sampling, approvals, and production follow-ups
- Assist in product development, costing, and merchandising activities
- Research current fashion trends, fabrics, embroidery techniques, and market ideas
- Ensure timely delivery and quality control of products
- Maintain merchandising records, order tracking, and documentation
- Support the design and production team in daily operations
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Fashion Merchandising or the Apparel Industry
- Knowledge of sketching and fashion development
- Understanding of embroidery, stitching, and garment construction
- Basic knowledge of pattern cutting
- Good understanding of fabrics, trims, and production processes
- Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills
- Ability to research and understand new fashion trends and market demands
Qualification
Degree/Diploma in Fashion Designing, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field preferred.
