Role Description
The Junior Executive - Media & Communications role is a full-time, on-site position based in India. The primary focus of the role will be to create engaging media content, manage communication channels, and support brand visibility efforts for the foundation’s initiatives. Key responsibilities include developing and curating content for digital and print platforms, managing social media presence, drafting press releases and reports, and coordinating communication strategies to amplify the foundation's outreach and impact.
Qualifications
- Experience in Content Writing, Editing, and Social Media Management
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective Communication and Branding Strategies
- Proficiency in Media & Public Relations, including drafting Press Releases and developing Marketing Content
- Skills in creative thinking, campaign planning, and stakeholder engagement
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (proficiency in additional languages is advantageous)
- Proficiency with digital tools, including content management systems, social media platforms, and basic knowledge of graphic design tools
- Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Understanding of or experience in the social development sector or CSR initiatives is an added advantage
