Role Description The Junior Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based at the company’s facility in Jamuria. The person in this role will support daily plant operations, including monitoring equipment performance, assisting in routine inspections, and reporting any technical issues to senior engineers. Responsibilities include coordinating with maintenance teams, supporting troubleshooting activities, and helping implement process improvements to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency. The Junior Engineer will assist in maintaining operational records, preparing basic technical documentation, and ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams on the shop floor and offers hands-on learning in mining, steel, and power-related processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess foundational technical skills relevant to mechanical, electrical, or production engineering, with the ability to understand equipment and process diagrams.
- Candidates should possess skills in basic data analysis, reporting, and documentation, including the use of standard office and plant reporting tools.
- Candidates should possess strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement in an industrial environment.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with operators, maintenance staff, and senior engineers.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgical, Production, or related field) from a recognized institution.
- Ability to work on-site in an industrial setting in Jamuria and follow all safety, health, and environmental guidelines.
- Willingness to work in shifts, learn new technologies, and adapt to changing operational requirements.
- Prior internship or junior-level experience in steel, power, mining, or heavy industry is beneficial but not mandatory.
