Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Junior Engineer at JSW Steel's facility in Ballari. The Junior Engineer will be responsible for performing tasks related to production, maintenance, and quality assurance in the steel manufacturing process. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring operations, troubleshooting technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and protocols. The Junior Engineer will also contribute to the implementation and optimization of production and maintenance processes.

Qualifications

• Technical skills in manufacturing processes, equipment maintenance, and production systems
• Knowledge in quality assurance, process evaluation, and troubleshooting
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate technical details
• Basic understanding of electrical and electronic systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate and address operational issues
• Relevant educational qualifications, such as a diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering
• Prior experience or internship in the manufacturing or steel industry is a plus
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a strong focus on safety and efficiency
