Role Description
The engineer will support machine integration and deployment of the PRIME production tracking system across the plant floor. The role involves Arduino controller programming, basic communication setup, wiring support, and troubleshooting during implementation and rollout.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in integrating manufacturing machines with PRIME production tracking software
• Develop and deploy MCU firmware for machine communication
• Configure basic communication protocols (UART, Serial, Bluetooth)
• Support PLC to controller migration activities
• Assist in PCB designing for machine interface modules
• Support panel wiring, electrical connections, calibration, and bench testing
• Troubleshoot basic machine communication issues
• Assist in production rollout and stabilization
• Maintain documentation for wiring, configurations, and testing.
Required Skills
• Experience with Microcontrollers (AVR / ARM)
• Strong programming skills in Embedded C and C++
• Basic knowledge of communication protocols (UART, Serial, RS485, Bluetooth)
• Understanding of sensor interfacing and machine signals
• Basic exposure to PCB design and panel wiring
• Basic knowledge of PLC systems
• Ability to perform basic hardware debugging and testing.
Preferred
• Exposure to manufacturing or plant floor environments
• Familiarity with machine interfacing
