Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Doctor cum Counsellor based in Siwan. The role involves conducting patient consultations, taking medical histories, and assisting senior fertility specialists in diagnostic evaluation and treatment planning. The Junior Doctor cum Counsellor will provide empathetic counselling to individuals and couples, explain procedures and treatment options, and support patients through their fertility journey. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with clinical and administrative teams, maintaining accurate medical records, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, and participating in patient education initiatives. The role also requires monitoring patients’ progress, addressing queries in a clear and sensitive manner, and contributing to a supportive, patient-centered environment.
Qualifications
- BAMS/BHMS/BUMS Graduated only can apply.
- Comfort working on-site in Siwan, with flexibility for clinic hours and a strong commitment to patient care and continuous learning.
- Counselling and communication skills, including empathetic listening, ability to explain complex medical information in simple terms, and supporting patients through emotional and psychological challenges.
- Organizational and record-keeping skills, including accurate documentation, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and adherence to clinical and ethical guidelines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting, demonstrate professionalism, maintain patient confidentiality, and collaborate effectively with senior clinicians and support staff.
