Auroville Consulting is looking for a Junior Digital Content & Communication Strategist to join our
team. As a strategic storyteller, you will take ownership of our brand presence and project
communications, translating scientific and sustainability concepts into compelling digital narratives.
This is a junior-level role for a creative professional who bridges the gap between artistic execution and data-driven strategy. You will play a key role in aligning our mission and vision with high-impact content across multiple projects.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Auroville, with occasional travel, mostly
within Tamil Nadu.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage organic social media content calendars: Meta, Linkedin, Twitter
- Conceptualise and create engaging visual and written content aligned with brand identity.
- Design graphics (Canva or similar) and edit short-form video content.
- Execution of paid campaigns (Meta, occasional Google Ads).
- Attend events and stakeholder meetings to capture and develop short and long-form content.
- Manage content for 2–3 projects with ownership and accountability.
- Track basic performance metrics and support optimisation.
Required Skills
- 6–12 months experience or a strong portfolio in digital content/communications.
- Strong writing and editing skills in English. Skilled in visual design, branding, and content writing.
- Familiarity with Canva or similar tools for graphic design.
- Ability to simplify and communicate structured or technical information.
- Good organisational skills and ownership mindset.
- Basic video editing skills.
Preferred Skills
- Tamil language proficiency (preferred).
- Exposure to Meta Ads and basic understanding of paid campaigns.
- Undergraduate studies in Maths/Science/Environmental Studies
Timings:
Monday to Friday
9am to 5pm
