Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Fashion Designer based on-site in Ahmedabad. The Fashion Designer will conceptualize and develop sleepwear designs that align with Sweet Dreams' brand identity. Responsibilities include selecting textiles, creating sketches, overseeing the fitting process, and incorporating embroidery details into the designs. The Fashion Designer will collaborate with the production team to ensure quality and innovation while keeping up with fashion trends and market demands.
KPI's
Research & Trend Analysis
- Support in market research and trend forecasting for emerging styles and fabrics.
- Assist in developing seasonal mood boards, color palettes, and design themes.
Design & Conceptualization
- Assist in creating innovative designs that align with brand aesthetics.
- Work on tech packs, including design specifications and measurements.
Material & Fabric Innovation
- Help in sourcing materials and fabrics to enhance product functionality.
- Stay updated on fabric trends and advancements in textile technology.
Sample Development & Fittings
- Coordinate with product development teams for sample creation.
- Participate in fit sessions and provide input on garment adjustments.
Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with senior designers and cross-functional teams.
- Assist in maintaining design files and project documentation.
Skills
Technical Skills:
- Basic proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw, and Photoshop.
- Understanding of garment construction and fabric properties.
Soft Skills:
- Creativity with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to collaborate and take feedback constructively.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or a related field (Preferably NIFT).
- Experience: 2-4years in apparel design, preferably in athleisure or sleepwear.
- Preference: Preferred candidates from Ahmedabad location
Salary Range: 5 LPA to 6 LPA
