Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Palghar for a Junior Designer. The Junior Designer will assist in the creation and development of innovative textile and apparel designs. Responsibilities include collaborating with the design team, translating concepts into detailed designs, selecting color palettes, creating embroidery and print patterns, and staying updated with the latest design trends. The role will also require contributing to the production process by ensuring designs are optimized for manufacturing. Working closely with senior designers, the Junior Designer will support the creation of designs that align with brand values and customer expectations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CorelDRAW
- Knowledge of textile design, pattern creation, and understanding of color theory
- Strong creative and innovative thinking skills, with an eye for detail
- Ability to analyze fashion trends and apply them to design concepts
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively in a team
- Prior experience with embroidery, digital printing, or textile manufacturing processes is a plus
- Degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field
- Ability to work independently under deadlines and multitask effectively
