Role Description
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Designer with 8 months to 1 year of experience in furniture and modular design. The role primarily focuses on custom furniture, modular kitchens, and wardrobes, not complete interior turnkey projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in designing modular kitchens, wardrobes, and customized furniture.
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with senior designers for concept development and execution.
• Understand client requirements and translate them into functional design solutions.
• Prepare BOQs and basic material specifications.
• Coordinate with production/site teams for smooth execution.
• Ensure accurate measurements and design detailing.
Requirements
• Minimum 8 months to 1 year of relevant experience in furniture/modular design.
• Educational background in Interior Design / Furniture Design / Architecture.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Basic understanding of modular systems, materials, and hardware.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Attention to detail and practical understanding of execution drawings.
Preferred
• Experience in kitchen and wardrobe detailing.
• Knowledge of material finishes, laminates, and hardware fittings.
