Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Design Engineer, based in Chennai. The role involves assisting with the design and development of cleanroom equipment and air filtration solutions. Core responsibilities include creating engineering drawings using CAD software, contributing to mechanical and electrical design processes, and collaborating with the product development team to ensure high-quality output. The Junior Design Engineer will also support the implementation of product designs, troubleshoot design issues, and assist in optimizing manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Design Engineering and Product Design, including the ability to take concepts from initial stages to final execution.
- Strong understanding of Mechanical Engineering principles and applications in product development.
- Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion360, etc..) for creating detailed engineering drawings and 3D models.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Prior experience or internship in cleanroom equipment or air filtration systems is a plus.
Compensation
In this role, you will enjoy a competitive salary ranging from Rs. 2,15,000 to Rs. 2,75,000 per annum, with a discretionary bonus.
