Role Description The Junior Counselor will work on-site in Dwarka in a full-time capacity, supporting students and families through the process of planning overseas education. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting initial counseling sessions, explaining suitable academic programs and institutions, and guiding applicants through admission requirements and documentation. The role involves providing clear information on cultural differences, visa processes, and timelines, as well as maintaining accurate records of student interactions and application status. The Junior Counselor will coordinate with senior counselors and partner institutions, follow up with prospective students, and participate in events or seminars related to study-abroad opportunities.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal, counseling, and student advisory skills, with the ability to explain academic pathways and study-abroad options clearly.
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written); proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
- Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple student cases, documentation, and deadlines efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of international education systems, admission processes, and visa requirements, or willingness to learn quickly.
- Comfort using computers, CRM tools, email, and online communication platforms to manage student information and follow-ups.
- Empathetic, patient, and service-oriented approach when interacting with diverse students and families.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or related fields.
- Prior internship or experience in counseling, customer service, or education consulting is beneficial but not mandatory.
