The Role
We are looking for a Junior Compliance Officer based in India to support both our clients and internal compliance initiatives.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for hands-on experience with GMDP, GAMP 5, ISO 9001, and ISO 27001 in a fast-growing SaaS environment.
You will work closely with UK-based clients, so strong communication skills and professionalism are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support TraxQM clients in implementing and managing compliance processes aligned with GMDP (Good Manufacturing & Distribution Practice)
- Assist clients in understanding and applying GAMP 5 principles for computer system validation
- Guide clients on quality processes such as:
- Deviations, CAPAs, Change Control
- Risk & KPI Management
- Document Management & Training compliance
- Assist with contact validations
- Support internal compliance activities at Codesplice, including:
- ISO 9001 (Quality Management System)
- ISO 27001 (Information Security Management System)
- Maintain and update SOPs, policies, and compliance documentation
- Participate in audits, management reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist in client onboarding and system implementation
Requirements
- Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, Quality, or related field
- Basic understanding of GxP / GMDP principles
- Awareness (or strong interest) in GAMP 5 / CSV (Computer System Validation)
- Excellent written and spoken English (client-facing role with UK clients)
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Exposure to ISO 9001 or ISO 27001
- Experience with eQMS systems
- Internship or work experience in pharma/healthcare compliance
- Interest in SaaS or technology platforms
Working Setup
- Fully remote role based in India
- Regular collaboration with the UK team and clients
- Core working hours 12 PM - 8 PM IST. Flexibility required to overlap with UK working hours (at least partially)
