Role Description
We are seeking a Junior Civil Safety Supervisor for a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. In this position, you will be responsible for implementing and supervising safety protocols, conducting regular site inspections, and ensuring workplace compliance with health and safety standards. Additional responsibilities include conducting safety training sessions, assisting in accident investigations, and coordinating with the team to enforce safety measures effectively.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Health & Safety and Occupational Health regulations and standards
- Experience in Safety Training and Accident Investigation processes
- Knowledge of Safety Engineering principles and practices
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and recommend corrective actions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with teams and management
- Relevant certification in health and safety or safety engineering is a plus
- Prior experience in a supervisory safety role, especially in the civil engineering sector, is advantageous
- Proactive and detail-oriented mindset with the capacity to work in a team-oriented environment
