Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Civil Engineer/Junior Architect in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The role involves assisting in the planning, designing, and implementation of civil engineering and architectural projects. Responsibilities include developing site plans, contributing to stormwater management strategies, and ensuring compliance with construction standards and regulations. The role requires collaboration with senior engineers and architects to deliver sustainable and community-focused redevelopment projects.
Key responsibilities:
1. Assist in the design, development, and implementation of engineering projects.
2. Conduct research and analysis to support project objectives and identify potential solutions.
3. Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
4. Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during project execution.
6. Participate in project planning and contribute to the development of project timelines.
7. Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
8. Adhere to industry best practices and company standards in all aspects of work.
9. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.
10. Support the testing and validation of engineering designs and prototypes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering principles
- A strong foundation in Engineering Skills, enabling you to contribute effectively to technical challenges.
- Proficiency in Project Management principles to assist in the organization and execution of tasks.
- Excellent Technical Communication abilities to articulate ideas and findings clearly.
- Demonstrated Research Skills to gather and analyze information pertinent to engineering projects.
- A keen aptitude for Problem Solving to identify and address technical hurdles efficiently.
- Familiarity with Mumbai's local building codes (like DCPR 2034).
- Knowledge of architectural design and construction standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with engineering and architectural software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
- Bachelor’s/Diploma degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Prior experience in urban development projects is a plus.
