Role Overview
We are seeking a
Junior Building Performance Analyst (Architect) who is passionate about sustainable architecture and data-driven design. This role is ideal for individuals interested in net-zero buildings and high-performance design, and who thrive in a dynamic startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop 3D energy models (BIM-gBXML-Energy conversions).
- Perform climate and environmental analysis using Rhino, Grasshopper, and Ladybug tools.
- Support founders and senior analysts in simulations, analysis, documentation for green certification, and research.
- Convert complex data into visually compelling and insightful client presentations.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Educational Background
B.Arch / M.Arch (Subject matter expertise preferred over degrees).
Technical Skills
- Working knowledge of Rhino/Grasshopper.
- Proficiency in 2D CAD.
- Basic exposure to Ladybug tools (Grasshopper), DesignBuilder, ClimateStudio, and BIM.
Data & Analytical Skills
Interest in learning Python, Excel, or Tableau for data analysis.
Core Competencies
- Strong technical understanding of building construction.
- Passion for designing high-performance buildings.
- Interest in sustainable and data-driven design practices.
