Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Dehradun for a Junior Biomedical Engineer at Kanishk Surgical & Super Specialty Hospital. Responsibilities include assisting with the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of medical equipment to ensure optimal performance. The role involves collaborating with clinical teams to support equipment functionality, performing preventive maintenance, and maintaining accurate documentation of activities and compliance with regulatory standards. The role also requires staying updated on advancements in biomedical technology to improve hospital processes and patient care.


Qualifications

  • Expertise in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance to ensure proper functioning and reliability of medical devices.
  • Knowledge of Medical Equipment operation and Clinical Engineering processes to provide timely troubleshooting and technical support.
  • Solid understanding of Biomedical Engineering principles and their application in a clinical setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work hands-on with high-tech medical instruments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Familiarity with hospital regulations, safety protocols, and medical device standards is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals
  • Minimum 1 year experience required
