Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated Junior BIM Modeller to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their BIM career to develop hands-on experience creating detailed 3D models, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to real-world construction projects. You will work under the guidance of senior BIM coordinators, gaining exposure to industry-standard workflows and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and develop accurate 3D BIM models (architectural, structural, and/or MEP) based on design drawings and specifications
- Assist in producing construction documentation, including plans, sections, elevations, and details, from BIM models
- Maintain and update models throughout the project lifecycle to reflect design changes
- Follow established BIM standards, templates, and naming conventions
- Support clash detection and coordination processes across disciplines
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to ensure model accuracy and consistency
- Participate in quality checks and model audits under senior team supervision
- Organize and manage project files in line with company and client BIM protocols
- Stay current with BIM software updates, tools, and industry best practices
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related field
- 0–2 years of experience in BIM modelling (internships and academic project experience welcome)
- Working knowledge of Archicad; familiarity with Navisworks, or other BIM tools is a plus
- Basic understanding of construction drawings, building systems, and construction methods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new software, tools, and workflows
- Basic understanding of BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650) is an advantage but not required
