Role Description
As a Junior BI Developer, you'll conduct in-depth studies of client businesses. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross functional teams to understand business needs + reporting requirements. Help create future-proof recommendations and solutions to model + transform data. You'll build engaging + user-friendly dashboards that support business decision making. Over time, you'll maintain + optimise dashboards, ensuring they are operating accurately + efficiently.
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Bengaluru.
Skills + Qualifications
- Data Modelling – Familiarity with fundamental data concepts. Relational databases – how tables link up. What clean, structured data models look like.
- Soft skills – Strong written + oral communication. You’re confident in discussing + explaining data concepts (clearly) to non-technical stakeholders. Equally confident documenting your steps in technical writing.
- Microsoft Excel – Basic understanding of spreadsheet software + formula writing. Ability to transform messy + unstructured data using Power Query + Pivot Tables.
- Power BI / Tableau – foundational knowledge of data visualization. Ability to use DAX to create measures and calculated fields / columns. Design + build simple reports and dashboards.
- Education – an undergraduate degree / coursework in Business Management, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems or any related field.
- (BONUS) Portfolio – Bonus points if you have a collection of projects you’ve worked on. Be sure to attach it to your application.
