About the role:
We are looking for a smart and enthusiastic Junior Backend Engineer who is eager to learn, solve problems, and work closely with customers and internal teams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys backend development and is comfortable communicating with clients during bot deployments and integrations.
Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript
- Experience with REST APIs and backend development
- Knowledge of Express.js / NestJS
- Understanding of databases like PostgreSQL, or MySQL
- Experience with API integrations and webhooks
- Familiarity with Git and version control
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable interacting with clients and customers
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain backend APIs and services
- Work on chatbot and automation workflows
- Support customer-facing bot deployments and integrations
- Join client calls to understand requirements and resolve issues
- Collaborate with product, support, and engineering teams
- Debug and troubleshoot production issues
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Good to Have
- TypeScript knowledge
- Experience with chatbot platforms or WhatsApp API
- Basic AWS or Docker knowledge
- Experience working in SaaS or CRM products
- Understanding of deployment and production environments
