Role Description
We are seeking a Junior Backend Developer for a full-time on-site position at our Kochi office. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining server-side logic for applications, optimizing backend systems for performance and scalability, and integrating front-end elements with server-side logic. The developer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure agile development and deployment of products while adhering to best practices and clean code principles.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js
- Familiarity with databases, particularly MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Experience with API development and integration, including RESTful APIs
- Understanding of server-side frameworks and tools like Express.js, Django, or Spring Boot
- Knowledge of version control systems, especially Git
- Problem-solving skills with a focus on efficient solutions and debugging code
- Strong collaboration and effective communication skills within a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker) is a plus
