Role Description
This is a full-time Junior Backend Developer role, based on-site in New Delhi. The Junior Backend Developer will work closely with the engineering team to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems for our AI-powered platform. Responsibilities include writing and optimizing server-side code, ensuring seamless integration with front-end components, debugging and troubleshooting systems, and collaborating with the product team to implement new features. Candidates will also maintain database integrity and contribute to system performance and reliability improvements.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in backend technologies (such as Node.js)
- Proficiency in working with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Understanding of APIs, microservices architecture, and RESTful services
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize system performance
- Effective collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional teamwork
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud is a plus
- Knowledge of the AEC industry or interest in project management is advantageous
