Junior Associate - Litigation

The Role
As a Junior Associate, you are expected not just to be drafting but you will be on the front lines, assisting with strategy and actively appearing before various Courts and quasi-judicial bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Court Appearances: Regularly appearing and mentioning matters before the Bombay High Court, City Civil Courts, NCLT, etc.
- Drafting: Independently preparing drafts of Plaints, Written Statements, Writ Petitions, Notices, and Interlocutory Applications.
- Research: Conducting in-depth legal research on evolving precedents.
- Briefing: Assisting senior partners in briefing Senior Counsel and preparing briefing notes.
- Liaising: Coordinating with court registries and administrative staff for filing and follow-ups.
Candidate Profile
- Education: LL.B. or B.L.S. LL.B. from a recognized university.
- Qualification: Must be enrolled with the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa.
- Skills: Strong command of English (both written and verbal).
- Familiarity with the High Court Side Rules and local court procedures in Mumbai.
- Expertise in Law and a strong understanding of Legal Issues
- Proficient in Legal Document Preparation and Drafting
- Strong Analytical Skills for reviewing cases and legal data.
- Excellent Communication skills for appearing in court and also liaising with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to stay updated on legal developments and regulatory changes.
