Company Description Studio Bello Architects is an architecture and interior design firm based in Chennai, India. The practice is led by Architect Bushiya Rajakumar, who holds a B.Arch and an M.Arch in Interior Design with international academic exposure in Italy. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Architect role based in Chennai. The Junior Architect will support the design process from concept to detailed drawings, including preparing layouts, 3D models, and construction documentation. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with senior architects, assisting in client presentations, and working with consultants and vendors to refine design solutions. The role involves reviewing site conditions, contributing to material and product research, and helping track project timelines and deliverables. The Junior Architect will be expected to collaborate with the team, follow studio standards, and actively learn and grow within the firm’s design practice.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, including conceptualization, space planning, and detailing.
- Ability to work with relevant software tools and basic Software Development or Integration knowledge where needed for design workflows or digital collaboration.
- Basic Project Management skills, including organizing tasks, supporting schedules, and coordinating documentation.
- Proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and familiarity with visualization tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution and eligibility to work in India.
- Attention to detail, strong design sensibility, and ability to follow design guidelines and feedback.
- Effective communication skills, willingness to work in a team, and openness to mentorship and continuous learning.
- Knowledge of local building codes, materials, and construction practices in Chennai or a strong willingness to learn.
