Role Description This is a full-time Junior Architect role based in Bengaluru, offered in a hybrid model that combines in-office collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility. The Junior Architect will support senior architects and project managers in developing architectural concepts, preparing drawings, and assisting with design documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Typical responsibilities include creating and updating plans and 3D models, coordinating with internal engineering teams, and contributing to design reviews and integration of structural, mechanical, and other systems. The role involves participating in site visits when needed, ensuring design intent is maintained, and helping compile reports, presentations, and project-related documentation. The Junior Architect will also assist in tracking tasks, maintaining project files, and adhering to relevant codes, standards, and company guidelines.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into clear drawings and models.
- Basic understanding of Software Development and Integration as they relate to architectural tools, BIM platforms, or design collaboration systems.
- Exposure to Project Management practices, including task tracking, documentation, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and familiarity with BIM workflows is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
- Knowledge of building codes, standards, and sustainable design principles is an advantage.
- Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and in a team in a hybrid environment.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to project needs, and participate in occasional site visits in and around Bengaluru.
