Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Architect role based in Mumbai. The Junior Architect will support the development of architectural designs from concept through detailed drawings, including preparing plans, sections, elevations, and 3D visualizations. Responsibilities include assisting with design presentations, coordinating with senior architects and consultants, and helping integrate structural, services, and interior requirements into cohesive solutions. The role also involves supporting project documentation, contributing to basic project management tasks such as tracking timelines, and participating in site visits, measurements, and inspections as required. The Junior Architect will collaborate with the team to ensure design intent, quality, and regulatory compliance are maintained throughout the project life cycle.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into clear drawings and design details.
- Understanding of Integration between architectural elements and building systems, coordinating inputs from structural, MEP, and interior teams.
- Basic exposure to Project Management, including organizing project information, tracking tasks, and supporting schedule adherence.
- Proficiency in relevant architectural software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and familiarity with presentation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; eligibility for or registration with the Council of Architecture is an advantage.
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and municipal approval processes in Mumbai or willingness to learn quickly.
- Strong visual communication, written documentation, and teamwork skills, with a detail-oriented and accountable work style.
