Role Description This full-time, on-site Junior Architect role is based in Dehradun. The Junior Architect will assist in architectural design, preparation of drawings, and development of 2D and 3D visualizations under the guidance of senior team members. Daily tasks include supporting concept development, preparing presentation materials, coordinating design details, and contributing to documentation for planning and construction. The role involves collaborating with project teams, communicating with consultants when required, and helping integrate design changes into project files. The Junior Architect will also participate in site visits, basic measurements, and quality checks to ensure design intent is implemented correctly.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development and preparation of detailed drawings.
- Candidates should possess skills in Software Development and Integration as they relate to architectural workflows, such as integrating BIM or CAD tools into project processes.
- Candidates should possess skills in Project Management, including task coordination, time management, and basic documentation support.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and basic graphic presentation tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution and eligibility or progress toward professional registration as per local regulations.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow design guidelines, and willingness to learn from feedback in a collaborative studio environment.
- Effective communication skills, ability to work on-site with multidisciplinary teams, and openness to occasional site visits and field coordination.
