Role Description The Junior Architect will support the design and execution of interior and architectural projects in a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. Responsibilities include assisting with concept development, preparing drawings and 3D visualizations, and contributing to detailed design documentation. The role involves coordinating with senior designers and consultants, supporting project planning, and helping ensure adherence to quality, timelines, and budgets. The Junior Architect will participate in site visits, contribute to material and finishes selection, and help resolve design and coordination issues as projects progress. This position offers hands-on exposure to end-to-end project delivery in a creative, detail-oriented studio environment.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to contribute to interior and spatial concepts.
- Basic understanding of Software Development and Integration in the context of design tools, BIM platforms, and workflow coordination.
- Ability to assist with Project Management activities, including planning tasks, tracking progress, and supporting coordination with consultants and vendors.
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop or similar visualization tools).
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent professional qualification from a recognized institution.
- Strong visual and spatial awareness, attention to detail, and commitment to design quality and functionality.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to studio processes, and participate actively in site work and project execution.
