Role Description The Junior Architect role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. This role involves supporting architectural design activities, preparing drawings and documentation, and assisting in the development of project concepts and layouts. The Junior Architect will collaborate with senior architects and project managers, participate in coordination meetings, and help integrate architectural plans with related technical and software solutions when needed. Day-to-day tasks include refining design details, ensuring alignment with project requirements and standards, and contributing to the smooth execution of ongoing projects. The position offers opportunities to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility within a structured project environment.
Qualifications
- Ability to apply core Architecture and Architectural Design principles to develop plans, layouts, and conceptual designs.
- Foundational knowledge in Software Development and Integration to collaborate on projects that involve technical or system-based components.
- Basic Project Management skills to assist in planning, tracking timelines, and coordinating with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting tools (e.g., CAD, BIM software) and strong visual and spatial awareness.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in an on-site team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a closely related discipline; internship or entry-level experience is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to project needs, and stay updated with industry standards and best practices.
