Role Description The Junior Architect will support senior architects in developing design concepts, preparing drawings, and coordinating project documentation. Day-to-day tasks include creating and revising architectural plans, assisting with 3D models and presentations, and ensuring design details align with project requirements and local regulations. The role involves collaborating with internal team members, consultants, and contractors, participating in site visits, and contributing to design reviews and project meetings. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dehradun, requiring regular presence at the office and project locations.
Qualifications
- Solid foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into clear drawings and details.
- Basic understanding of Software Development and Integration as they relate to architectural tools and workflows (e.g., CAD/BIM integration, design software interoperability).
- Ability to assist in Project Management tasks, such as organizing documentation, tracking design changes, and supporting coordination with consultants and contractors.
- Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar), and strong visual presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; eligibility or pursuit of professional licensure is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English; familiarity with local building codes and standards is a plus.
- Willingness to learn, take feedback constructively, and grow within a reputable architectural practice.
