Role Description
As a Junior Analyst – Feed Testing, you will be responsible for carrying out analytical testing of animal feed and fodder samples to ensure quality, safety, and nutritional compliance. You will work in a structured laboratory environment following NABL guidelines and standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform proximate analysis of feed and fodder samples
- Operate and maintain analytical instruments (e.g., NIR, lab equipment)
- Prepare reagents, standards, and calibration solutions
- Maintain accurate documentation as per quality management systems
- Assist in method validation, internal quality control, and reporting
- Ensure adherence to laboratory safety and quality standards
- Support senior analysts in routine and research-based testing
This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in feed quality evaluation and laboratory accreditation systems.
Qualifications
- M.Sc. in Organic / Inorganic / Analytical Chemistry
- 0–2 years of experience in laboratory testing (freshers with strong fundamentals may apply)
- Basic understanding of analytical chemistry techniques
- Good documentation and data interpretation skills
- Strong skills in data analysis, problem-solving, and statistical interpretation
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage time effectively
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and related technologies
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Strong communication and report-writing skill
