Junior AI Engineer (Agentic AI & Voice AI)
Location: Remote (India)
About the Role
We are looking for a Junior AI Engineer to join a fast-moving team building real-world Agentic AI and Voice AI systems. This is a hands-on engineering role where you will work on production-grade AI applications including voice agents, LLM pipelines, evaluation systems, observability tooling, and real-time data infrastructure.
This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy building, shipping, and working across the full AI stack. You will work closely with senior engineers and contribute directly to systems used by real customers.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and improve AI agent workflows and orchestration systems
• Work on real-time Voice AI applications and conversational AI pipelines
• Develop evaluation and observability systems for LLMs and voice agents
• Build monitoring dashboards, alerting systems, and production tooling
• Work with prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and vector databases
• Support model serving, data pipelines, and training workflows
• Contribute to sentiment analysis, intent classification, and dialogue systems
• Collaborate on scalable AI infrastructure and production deployments
Required Skills
• 1–3 years of software engineering or AI engineering experience OR strong hands-on project experience
• Strong Python programming skills
• Experience building projects using LLMs, RAG systems, AI agents, chatbots, or fine-tuned models
• Familiarity with OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, or similar tools
• Understanding of vector databases and retrieval pipelines
• Comfortable with SQL, APIs, Git, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Ability to explain projects and technical decisions clearly
Strongly Preferred
• Hands-on experience building Voice AI or conversational AI systems
• Experience with tools such as ElevenLabs, Deepgram, Whisper, Vapi, Retell, LiveKit, Pipecat, or similar
• Understanding of speech-to-text, text-to-speech, real-time audio streaming, and interruption handling
• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks like LangGraph or CrewAI
• Familiarity with evaluation frameworks such as LangSmith, Ragas, Promptfoo, or custom eval pipelines
• Exposure to production deployments or real-user applications
