Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Chennai for fresh law graduates as Junior Advocates at Rajendra Law Office LLP. The primary responsibilities include assisting senior advocates in case preparation, drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and representing clients in civil, criminal, corporate, immigration, and tax-related matters. Junior Advocates will have the opportunity to attend court hearings, meet clients, and provide legal consultation under the guidance of experienced professionals. The role requires a commitment to learning and proficiency in multiple domains of law.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in legal drafting, document preparation, and case law research
- Knowledge of civil litigation, criminal law, corporate legal practices, and tax law
- Understanding of property legal work, real estate issues, and notary public services
- Effective communication and client consultation skills
- Ability to work under the guidance of senior advocates and handle diverse legal assignments
- LL.B. (Bachelor of Law) from a recognized university
- Membership with the Bar Council of India
- High ethical standards, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn
- Proficiency in Tamil and English is essential; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
- Familiarity with Chennai’s legal environment and court practices is advantageous
